Holiday Thanks

A few weeks ago, I talked about collecting autographed books for Christmas for a local domestic violence shelter.

Well, this afternoon we'll be delivering four large boxes worth of books, along with one framed and signed art print. I had hoped to post a "Total Books Received," but I lost count. At a rough guess, I'd say there's close to 100 new and used books. The used books will be going into the shelter's library, whereas the autographed books will be given to individual families in need.

Y'all are amazing. I'm just sayin'.

Not everyone on the list is a writer. At least one is an artist/photographer. One is a friend from High School who now owns a vinyard :-) But it's mostly writers.

And yes, you should go out and read stuff by all of those writers. Today! Or maybe tomorrow. This weekend at the latest.
