LOL Snoopy
All LOL books come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Previous LOL books are available at http://jimhines.livejournal.com/tag/lol.

So I'm back from ConFusion. Very sleepy; Jamie had a rough night, with many bad dreams, so he ended up sleeping with Daddy. Which of course means Daddy didn't do much sleeping at all...

Anyway, today's LOL book is Cats in Cyberspace [Amazon | Mysterious Galaxy], by Beth Hilgartner. Enjoy!

Oh, cool! This was a last-minute LOLing, so I didn't get a chance to do much research into the book. I thought it was an anthology at first...

There was supposed to be a sequel, but Meisha Merlin folded, so I don't know what happened to it.

I am pleased that I long ago mastered the art of LMAO silently while at work.

Glen had "bad dreams" and needed to sleep with us, too. Hehe.

Jamie might be coming down with a cold, too, which probably added to the sleeping troubles last night.

How is it that you keep picking books that look like stuff I would enjoy reading???

Must go investigate!

I was trained many years ago by book monks in the distant mountains. It's not the best superpower in the world, but it's a fun one ;-)

Why do I think all those post-its say things like "find maid for litter duty," "get cat chow--the good kind this time, HUMAN!" and "neuter vet..."?

You mean Cats in Cyberspace is a real title? When I saw it, I thought you made that up too; not just the caption ;-)

Have a lovely day! :-)

Nope, it's a real book from Meisha Merlin. Melissa in the comments apparently has an autographed copy :-)

Cats In Cyberspace by Beth Hilgartner
The sequel was called _Pray Part Politics_ and I actually hear her read from it at the last world con in Boston.

Does anyone know what she is doing now, or if she has a web site, or blog.

The last time I was able to talk to some one from Meisha Merlin, before they folded, he said they gave her back the rights to her books, so she if free to go with another publisher.

Hi, I just found your lolbooks by reading coffeeem's blog. This is my favourite one! You rock! Kak krasa! Khorosho! Can I make an icon out of it (& credit you)?

Spasibo!

(BTW, I work in Flights of Fantasy - you sent us autographed bookplates. Sales appear to be taking off with your 3rd volume, at least locally.)

Good morning, and welcome! Please feel free to make an icon of this.

Also, I'm very glad to hear the book is doing well. For some reason, things really seem to have clicked with book three. I don't completely understand it, but I'm certainly not going to complain! :-)

One of these days I'll make it out there to visit the store...

Thanks! & feel free to come any time for a signing (although 1 month's advance notice is always useful for advertising purposes)...
