LOL books use special time travel technology to get forthcoming book covers even before Amazon has them! Previous LOL books are available at http://jimhines.livejournal.com/tag/lol.
This morning we have the forthcoming book Shadowrealm (The Twilight War) [Amazon | Mysterious Galaxy] by Paul S. Kemp (
paulskemp). This is a December release, the third and final book in Kemp's Twilight War trilogy, but I saw the cover and just had to use it.
Man, wouldn't this be an entertaining spell to use in combat? Just imagine the battle cries your wizard could come up with.

Just to let you know, I finished Goblin War Saturday morning. Wow - now that I've gotten to the end, I can see that there will NOT be a Goblin Water. Kind of a shame - there's lots more trouble that Jig & Smudge could have gotten into.
In D&D, there's a class of priest spells called Power Word _____. Power Word Stun, Power Word Kill, etc.
You know, I liked the ending of Goblin War ... I think it wraps things up pretty well, but there's definitely the possibility for some new stories. They'd be different, but you know Jig's going to have an interesting time of it :-)
I'd find this one hilarious for several priests I've played/seen played...
The fighter that had travelled with her awhile snorted "Meaning she has to leave the next jerk alive." The druid just shrugged.
I loved my DM for letting me do things like that.
I get rather discouraged when a series goes on and on and on...
There can be more stories without it being "The Neverending Saga" - and any more would HAVE to be different enough to NOT be part of the same trilogy *grin*
...mind you, I want *more*. But it was a good ending. :)
Incidentally, it's a Forgotten Realms novel, not a Dragonlance novel.
I'm going to have to send a friends over here, too. I wandered here thanks to Paul.
I've go 40 or so of these things by now, I think. Let me know which one is your favorite :-)
