Three Weeks to Unbound

UnboundIt’s three weeks until Unbound [Amazon | B&N | Indiebound] comes out. This is the time I’d normally switch into higher gear with giveaways and other promotional stuff.

Unfortunately, my son’s cold is kicking my butt, and holiday preparation is eating up the remaining energy. So instead, I leave you with what could be considered a tantalizing hint, a piece of the research I did while writing the book, a glimpse into the inner workings of the culmination of three books!!!

Or maybe it’s just a random bit of letters and doodling I’m posting because I’m too brain-fuzzed to write a real blog post. Who knows?

This served as the model for one of the messages Isaac has to decipher. All I’ll tell you about it is that it’s from 983 A.D.

That cover is gorgeous, Jim. I loved the first two books and I'm really looking forward to reading the third.

Thanks! I'm really happy with what Gene did for the cover this time. (Though given what I've seen so far, it's *possible* the cover for #4 will be even better :-)

Cold are a total pain. :/ I hope that your son will get better soon. *sends good thoughts*

That 983 AD picture looks great, and Unbound's cover is fabulous. Isaac looks tough, and damn sexy. I'm so excited that Unbound will be available in just 3 weeks!

Perfect timing, Jim. My husband and son just asked me two days ago whether there were any books I'd like for the holidays, and I didn't have an answer for them. Now I have told them that a pre-order for Unbound would be most welcome, and that reminded me of another couple of books I've been wanting to pick up.

Now I'm looking forward to the prospect of an order confirmation in my stocking. :)

I'm re-reading Libriomancer right now and it is such a delight. Also, one of my closest friends just read it for the first time, and really enjoyed it, especially Lena and her resolution to the love triangle.
